Dear Friends,
I have always enjoyed giving gifts, and well, I also enjoy receiving gifts. With the COVID19 virus and now its many variants, the public has been advised to wear two masks. This makes sense to me. As you can see, I have masks, magnetic refrigerator clips, note pads, sticky notes, and magnets. I'd love to give you one or all. The gifts are almost free. Yep, that's right...ALMOST. But, it's easy, all you have to do is email me a receipt showing that you have purchased one of my novels. The receipt should include the date of purchase, the title of my novel, and where you purchased the book. Simply scan in the receipt and email to: rogers.lorettac@gmail.com. Also, include your mailing address. Hurry, this offer ends on Valentine's Day, Sunday, February 14, 2021.  I look forward to hearing from you.

As always, dear friends, stay safe, stay well, and HAPPY READING!

Dear Friends,
I am delighted to celebrate another year with you. Whew! 2020 has been a doozie.

Although 2020 presented some real challenges, I am deeply grateful for loyal friends and readers like you who’ve stayed connected with me and continue to read my books during these difficult times.

It is my pleasure to share with you that for 2021, my publisher, The Wild Rose Press, has contracted books #1 & 2 of my new Doc Holliday Mystery series; Fatal Passion and The Bone Yard. TWRP has also contracted A Little Kringle Magic which is a Christmas themed Historical romance. I’m looking forward to seeing what the graphic artist creates for book covers, and sharing the covers with you. I don't have release dates, yet, however, as soon as I do, I'll post on my FaceBook page. So, stay tuned.

In the meantime, I’m busy conjuring ideas for Doc Holiday Mystery books #3 & 4.  I can tell you that I've included plenty of red herrings to keep you, dear readers, guessing who the real killers are in each of the new mystery novels. Plus, there is a little magic in the Christmas story.

I look forward to continuing to provide you with exciting new stories that will give you reading pleasure for many years to come!

In the meantime, Bitter Autumn, Christmas at Hope Ranch, When Comes Forever, and my other novels are available in both print and Ebook. I've provided links to all of my novels, so feel free to roam around my website and look them over.

As always, stay safe, stay well, and HAPPY READING!

My Southern Roots

1/1/2021

Dear Readers,
My family history is rooted in the panhandle of Florida and deeply tied to the Scots-Irish-German culture. Traditions were important to my family, and during holidays, those traditions were strictly adhered to. A recent conversation with my brother about our childhood left us wondering if the generations after us will even remember the old-time customs. With that in mind, I thought I'd close out 2020 with a few New Year traditions that my family celebrated during my growing up years. Even today, January 1, 2021, I have prepared a traditional southern meal of black-eyed peas and collard greens seasoned with ham hocks, my granny's cornbread recipe, and lemon drop cookies. In the tradition of my Irish roots, my doors are open to air out the bad and let in the fresh. So Dear Readers, I hope you enjoy reading about my family's New Year folklore. I'd love to hear about yours.
